Introduction

The rapid pace of technological advancement in the Oil and Gas industry and the sophistication in the competences required to adequately perform in the industry, and achieve the objective of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act 2010, this networking workshop brings together stakeholders, policy makers, investors in Human Capacity Development, Trainers, Educational and Vocational institutions in an effort to sharpen the focus and increase the impact of project related and direct intervention trainings carried out the support of the NOGICD Act.

Objectives of the Workshop

  • Defne the minimum standards required for training Organizations and Trainers
  • Address stakeholder’s issues and challenges and provide insights on gaps, strengths and impact of the Board’s technical training
  • Review and update Guidelines for selection and management of the HCD Programs
